When Josh’s wife spots a social media post about a frail senior donkey named Amigo, Josh and Ron jump into action. But when they arrive, Amigo is in far worse shape than expected, and he absolutely refuses to load.
After hours of struggle, they finally, with extra help, are able to load him onto the trailer and get him to Oscar’s Place. Dr. Kerry is disheartened by Amigo’s condition, though his bloodwork offers a glimmer of hope. Suspecting severe dental issues, the team begins shredding and soaking his hay so he can get enough calories. Josh doesn’t hesitate. He vowed to care for Amigo for however long the old donkey has left, and he’s determined to keep that promise.
