Meet MJ, Roxie, and Archie

MJ, Roxie, and Archie left for their forever home!

Archie was rescued in May 2021, and MJ (short for Mickey Jr.) and Roxie were rescued in January 2022. After arriving at Oscar’s Place already pregnant, Roxie had a stillbirth. MJ never left her side. We don’t know their exact relationship, but it’s possible that they are mother and son. What we do know for sure is that their bond is unbreakable.

Early on, their adopters told us that they specifically wanted to give a chance to donkeys who had been overlooked. MJ, Roxie , and sweet Archie were exactly that. They’re more mellow and reserved, not as “in your face” as some of the younger donkeys who tend to demand attention. That’s why others may have passed them by. But their time has come, and we couldn’t be happier!

All three donkeys are now getting settled in at their new happy home. MJ, Roxie, and Archie have been with us for quite some time, and we are so grateful to see them chosen for exactly who they are. Learn more about adopting a donkey from Oscar’s Place.
