Oscar’s Place is not open to the public. We do welcome scheduled visits from donors, volunteers and/or potential adopters. Please email madyson@oscarsplace.org to set up your visit. We cannot accommodate visitors that show up unannounced without signing the proper waivers.
VISIT US
While Oscar's Place is not open to the public, we do invite first time volunteers, Guardians (monthly supporters), and potential adopters to tour the ranch. For liability reasons and because we are a sanctuary where animals are recovering from abuse we do not allow anyone under the age of 12 or dogs on property.
If you are interested in volunteering
In order to be a volunteer, you must commit to regular scheduled visits. Our volunteer program is “hands on donkey.” The only way to help these animals recover from what they have been through and learn to trust humans again, is to patiently & lovingly show them that we are only here to help them.
If you are interested in becoming a Guardian
You can learn more and become a Guardian here: https://www.oscarsplace.org/guardians
If you would rather each member of your party make a one-time donation you can do so here: https://www.oscarsplace.org/donation
Scheduling a tour
Please reach out to madyson@oscarsplace.org to schedule a tour. All visits must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance and happen during our visiting hours: 9a-3p on Tues, Weds, Thus, and Sat of each week.
